Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Software Engineer, Micro Platforms, for full-time work designing, developing, and maintaining scalable micro platforms.
The platforms support core business services in a distributed system environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant, and reliable micro platforms.
- Implement and optimize backend services using modern development practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps on platform deployment and monitoring.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across distributed systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least five years of software engineering experience focused on backend development.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, or a similar programming language.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Compensation and Employment
- The full-time role pays $180,000 to $250,000 per year.

- The role is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
