Overview
Support Phone, PC, and Tablet products by ensuring apps and device user interfaces are ready for global localization.
Own day-to-day localization tooling and workflows and independently resolve routine pipeline and tooling issues.
The contract is for 12 months, with potential extension based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Process UI strings, app content, and resource files for localization across phone, PC, and tablet products.
- Operate localization tools and write Python or shell wrappers for routine requests.
- Build and maintain automation, scripts, and CI/CD pipelines for localization workflows.
- Maintain Jenkins jobs and GitHub Actions workflows for extraction, validation, builds, and delivery.
- Troubleshoot CI, client tooling, API, data-layer, encoding, layout, build, and platform issues.
- Collaborate with linguists, project managers, and platform engineers to resolve blockers.
- Validate localized builds, layouts, and device displays across languages and locales.
- Use command-line Git for branching, merging, conflict resolution, pull requests, and Gerrit changes.
- Apply AI-assisted workflows and maintain technical documentation.
