Software Engineer Level III

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and business users to define, build, and deliver solutions to most challenging upstream business problems. Architect, implement, deploy, and support analytics solutions with a focus on development of Spotfire solutions. Continue to learn and share analytics solutions best practices with team members Create logical, unified data views across disparate data sources and tailor it to suit analytical needs. Point of contact for higher level or complex issues and will work with senior levels for resolution. This position is full-time and may require after hours support for critical business needs. Skills & Experience Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and over all 8+ years of IT experience and 6 years of relevant experience. Skills/Knowledge Proficient in Tibco Spotfire, Tibco Data Virtualization. Proficient in Python, R, Unix scripts. Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server. Experience with SQL development and optimization. Good understanding of Power BI and other BI tools. Working Knowledge of HTML, Java Script, CSS programming Experience with configuring and administering TIBCO Spotfire will be added advantage Independently designs and plans BI solutions, as well as debugs, monitors, and troubleshoots BI solutions. Experience in writing relational and multidimensional database queries. Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification and methodology development. Forms productive relationships with customers by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively. Participates on project teams as a key contributor. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic understanding of and willingness to learn and adopt professional and industry standards Responsible for relationship with vendors and opening and coordinating issues with vendors. Responsible for writing fundamental documentation in a clear, concise manner, adhering to standards. Customer service driven and strong team player
