The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the RDS (Repository and Derivative Services) Delivery Team, you will be part of the Application development of the GTR (Global Trade Repository) platform.

You would be part of an Agile squad and will collaborate with the other GTR regional teams (verticals) and the horizontals / CoE within the RDS group and across DTCC.

You would actively participate and contribute on developing and delivering a robust and scalable platform solution as per the regulatory and client requirements.

The Software Engineering role specializes in planning, detailing technical requirements, crafting, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm.

Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and improvement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that tackle sophisticated business problems.

• Develop controls for core applications in compliance with functional
• Construct unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional
• Follow design and code standards, contributing to continuous improvement discussions
• Create and maintain system documentation
• Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
• Contribute to the design of components or individual programs
• Provide production support for applications as needed
• Work with subject matter experts reviewing technical designs and specifications
• Apply different software development methodologies dependent on project needs

Work with peers to mature ways of working, continuous integration, and continuous delivery

• 3+ yrs of exp in in Python, SQL, Snowflake, Amazon Web Services, EC2, S3, UNIX and related technologies
• Hands on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring (Boot, Core, MVC, JDBC, Security), JUnit.
