This position is responsible for supporting many of Wellmark's member, employer, and provider-facing digital applications.
• What projects might I support? Although subject to change, examples of projects you will be contributing to include:
• Collaborate with Technology and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve production support issues
• Active participation in team ceremonies for work breakdown, estimation, sequencing, and continuous improvement
• Full stack development opportunities for new features
• Contribute to creating inclusive, accessible, and user-friendly websites by applying WCAG best practices
• Develop business knowledge of the application necessary to effectively provide support maintenance

• This internship will start in May of 202 7, working a hybrid schedule from our headquarters in Des Moines.
• Current junior or senior student pursing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
• Knowledge of software development technologies (NodeJS, Angular, .NET, MongoDB, SQL)
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills. Accuracy and high attention to detail and self-starter.
• Ability to troubleshoot and develop creative technical solutions.
• Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Preferred:
• Prior work experience in an office environment or internship
