Software Engineer III, Infra, Core Communications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, testi, and deploy high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Contribute to critical modernization projects, helping to simplify and re-architect core components of our platform.
• Collaborate with client teams and product partners across Google to understand requirements and deliver robust, scalable solutions.
• Take ownership of features and components from initial design through to launch.
• Analyze and improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of the platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting. - 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields. - 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. - Experience developing accessible technologies.
