J.P. Morgan Personal Investing provides investment products and digital wealth management services to UK investors.
The Web Engineer will work on the web applications that support Nutmeg and deliver product features within a cross-functional Engineering and Product team.
The team uses an internal React Design System and team-owned monorepositories to build user-friendly customer experiences at scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver product features as part of larger domain-owned epic initiatives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve prioritised defects.
- Maintain high-quality code through testing, best practices, and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge with peers.
- Create technical documentation, build domain understanding, and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
- Consider accessibility, security, observability, and performance in application delivery.
Required qualifications and skills
- Proven experience building and maintaining customer-centric web applications or single-page applications.
