Pay Details
- The listed base pay range is $125,500–$154,000 CAD.
Department Overview
The Enterprise Marketing Technology team builds systems for campaign design, creative content, content management, data analysis, AI, and personalized decisioning across customer channels.
Engineering Responsibilities
- Automate build, test, release, and configuration activities across applications, platforms, and infrastructure.
- Create solution options, coordinate stakeholders, and develop detailed designs aligned with architecture and business requirements.
- Develop complex applications and systems, review technical deliverables, and address application, data, environment, and performance issues.
- Define metrics, recommend buy, build, or reuse solutions, and work with architects on environment and data-conversion impacts.
Quality and Governance
- Follow enterprise software engineering frameworks and methodologies and support continuous improvement and automation.
- Conduct code reviews, operational readiness reviews, design gates, and review sign-offs.
- Manage risks, remediation plans, regulatory alignment, and governance issues affecting software engineering activities.
Team Contribution
- Provide engineering thought leadership, share knowledge, mentor team members, and support issue resolution.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships, participate in cross-training, and contribute to a positive and equitable team environment.
Experience and Education
- An undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, or technical certificate is required, with a strong academic background in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience and senior or lead-level independent work.
- A graduate degree is considered an asset.
