Role Overview
JPMorganChase is hiring a Software Engineer III - Android for the International Consumer Bank.
The role supports customer-facing Android applications and mobile banking features for Chase UK.
The engineer will work with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Define, design, build, and release Android mobile features.
- Develop reusable and testable Kotlin code using modern Android standards.
- Build interfaces with Jetpack Compose.
- Contribute to testing strategies for reliability, performance, and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, collaboration, and code reviews.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and technical considerations across a distributed organization.
- Use authorized AI capabilities for design comprehension, coding support, testing, and documentation while validating outputs.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with expanding applied experience.
- Solid Kotlin knowledge and modern Android development experience.
