Role Overview
TD is hiring a Software Engineer II (SDET) within Technology Solutions in Toronto, Ontario.
The role develops software and enterprise-grade test automation while supporting quality, reliability, accessibility, and incident management objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop Java solutions, new features, unit or component tests, enhancements, and break-fix implementations.
- Build, maintain, and integrate enterprise automation frameworks into engineering delivery processes.
- Document and verify application, infrastructure, security, integration, operability, and architecture components.
- Provide technical expertise during incidents and participate in code, quality, and operational readiness reviews.
- Identify automation and testing improvements, support issue prevention, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Mentor colleagues, share quality engineering practices, and support productive stakeholder relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of Java development and test automation experience.
- Five or more years of Selenium WebDriver experience.
- Three or more years of TypeScript experience.
- Two or more years of Playwright automation experience.
- Strong Agile or Scrum experience and enterprise-grade automation framework experience.
