Software Engineer II - Java FullStack, React and AWS

Role Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Execute software solution design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Write secure, high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.
• Design and troubleshoot with consideration of upstream and downstream systems.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI coding tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation, with output validation.
• Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation capabilities.
• Analyze diverse data sets to identify problems and support application development decisions.
• Apply system processes and methodologies to develop secure, stable code and systems.

Required Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 2 years of applied experience.
• Full-stack skills across React, TypeScript, Java or Python back-end development, AI skills, and AWS infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
• Exposure to agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Hands-on experience with authorized AI-assisted development tools and critical validation of generated output.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, and databases.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
• Exposure to AWS cloud technologies.
