Providence is hiring a remote Software Engineer II to develop, implement, and maintain information systems for research and clinical trials data. The role involves working directly with researchers on system design, testing, and implementation.

- 2 years Experience coding in Ruby, JavaScript, HTML and similar languages
- 1 year Experience in a Healthcare environment
- 1 year IT Project Management experience

Description
- The Software Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the information systems (IS) and technologies needed for the management and analysis of research and clinical trials data.
- They contribute to the strategic vision, direction and operations of the Research Network by developing and implementing the information systems and software solutions required to meet the current and projected research needs of the Providence Research Network.
- This positions works directly with researchers on the design, testing and implementation of systems and infrastructure supporting modern research and software development/programming methodologies.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or a related specialty Or 4 years of related experience.
