Role overview
Join Braze's SMS team, which builds and scales SMS and RCS channels within the customer engagement product.
The team owns channel composition, sending, message responses, analytics, and supporting chat-messaging services.
What you'll do
- Ship high-value full-stack features quickly and drive initiatives from concept to delivery.
- Own key technical areas, solve open-ended problems, and help keep the platform dependable as traffic expands.
- Work collaboratively across teams and functions and communicate clearly with peers and leadership.
Who you are
- Have 5 or more years of full-stack development experience.
- Have professional experience building distributed systems at scale.
- Understand distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
- Are self-directed and bring strong communication and organizational skills.
- Have prior experience working in a team environment.
Bonus qualifications
- Experience with Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, React, or TypeScript is a bonus.
- Experience with agile processes is a bonus.
