Join Fandango's Platform Operations team as a Software Engineer II supporting developer productivity across Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, and Fandango at Home.
Build and maintain platforms and tools that help engineering teams develop, deploy, and operate software efficiently.
Work environment
- This is a fully remote position.
- Team members are expected to participate in periodic in-person collaboration opportunities, with approximately 10% travel.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of internal platform tools and services under senior engineer guidance.
- Build backend services, APIs, and data models supporting platform capabilities across multiple products.
- Develop internal frontend tools using React and Next.js.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, Platform, Infrastructure, and SRE teams.
- Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot applications using logging, metrics, and observability tools.
- Support deployments through CI/CD pipelines and help maintain healthy production environments.
- Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and improvements to engineering workflows.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with guidance from senior team members.
