Job description
Join JPMorganChase’s Commercial and Investment Bank Payments Technology team as a Software Engineer II.
Design and deliver secure, stable, scalable technology products as a seasoned agile team member.
Job responsibilities
- Execute software design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Create secure production code and maintain integrated algorithms.
- Use authorized AI coding tools for coding, testing, refactoring, and documentation with output validation.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
- Analyze large data sets to support continuous software and system improvement.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems affecting coding hygiene and architecture.
Required qualifications
- Formal software engineering training or certification and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Expertise developing C#/.NET and Java Spring Boot applications.
- Experience with ASP.NET, SQL Server, Oracle, and T-SQL.
- Working knowledge of private cloud environments such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience maintaining software in a large corporate environment.
- Hands-on use of authorized AI-assisted development tools and ability to evaluate generated outputs.
