Role Overview
The Software Engineer II joins a global engineering team delivering software for ATM Recycler and Deposit devices.
The role focuses on currency-template software that verifies deposited media and identifies characteristics of genuine or counterfeit currency.
Full training is provided for the unique development environment and required skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software within agreed timescales and customer requirements.
- Analyze note image attributes and implement functions for image authentication and currency validation.
- Perform simulation testing and testing on target hardware.
- Investigate and resolve complex problems and manage issues across development stages and priorities.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in template update peer reviews.
- Estimate template development efforts with support from senior developers or technical leads.
