Role Overview
ICU Medical is hiring a Software Engineer I, Embedded Development to develop and maintain embedded systems.
The role is based in Chennai and requests 3 to 5 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for real-time systems.
- Write efficient, scalable, and high-quality C++ and Python code.
- Work with hardware teams to integrate software with embedded devices.
- Debug and resolve issues in embedded applications and system-level software.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
- Analyze system performance and optimize software.
- Document design, implementation, and test procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in C++ and design patterns.
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Good understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller architecture.
- Experience with debugging tools and techniques.
- Experience with RTOS-based systems is an added advantage.
