Flywire is seeking an early-career Software Engineer I to join the StudyLink team.
StudyLink is a cloud-based admissions solution used by universities, agents, and students across Australia and globally.
The role combines AI-augmented development with software craftsmanship, security, performance, and scalability work.
What you will do
- Use AI development tools to read, analyze, refactor, and generate clean, secure, and testable code.
- Evaluate AI-generated solutions and peer code for performance, edge cases, design quality, security, memory management, and scalability.
- Work with global cross-functional teams including senior architects, product, SRE, and security.
- Assist with technical product implementation and resolving client technical requests with application support teams.
- Help design and build product enhancements that streamline workflows and improve application responsiveness.
- Participate in continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle and deliver reliable solutions.
What we are looking for
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, data structures, system architecture, and relational database design.
