Software Engineer - Frontend

You’ll be a great addition to our team if you have the following skills, knowledge and experience

• We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems and building scalable systems that operate reliably under high throughput environments.
• You will likely have experience in:
• Building scalable, production-grade web applications
• Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript
• Modern JavaScript and frontend engineering practices
• Designing performant, responsive and accessible user experiences
• Developing and consuming backend APIs
• Building and operating applications in a cloud environment such as AWS
• Automated testing across frontend and backend systems
• Application monitoring, observability and troubleshooting
• Working closely with product, UX/design and engineering teams
• Making pragmatic technical decisions in fast-moving product environments
• Taking ownership of software from design through to production
• Supporting and mentoring other engineers
• You don’t need to be equally strong in every area. We’re most interested in engineers with excellent frontend fundamentals who are comfortable working beyond the browser and understanding the systems behind the customer experience.
• Experience within ecommerce, travel, marketplaces or another high-traffic consumer platform would be useful, but isn’t essential.
