- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into intuitive, user friendly features
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
- Optimise application performance, stability, and responsiveness across devices
- Integrate APIs and work closely with backend teams on system architecture and data flows
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development processes
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3–6+ years of experience in Android development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) and/or Java
- Experience with modern Android development frameworks (e.g. Jetpack, MVVM architecture)
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and mobile app architecture
- Experience with version control tools such as Git
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks is a plus
- Experience building consumer facing apps, ideally within fintech, payments, or e commerce
