Lead development, maintenance, delivery, and support of cloud-based platform software supporting Ford connected vehicle capabilities.
Own software required for Ford Volkswagen Alliance connectivity integration across Ford-engineered and Volkswagen-engineered partnership models.
Manage delivery priorities for critical production platform components in an always-on environment.
Monitor and improve cost, quality, reliability, and delivery performance for supported platform capabilities.
Support transformation efforts aligned to Ford’s Converged Connectivity strategy.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 6–10 GSR and agency direct reports.
Collaborate closely with global engineering teams, product teams, integration teams, service teams, and partner organizations.
Translate technical implementation details and partner OEM connectivity approaches into clear direction for internal stakeholders.
Make informed decisions across technical design, software implementation, program execution, and product lifecycle direction.
Drive process discipline and continuous improvement in a constructive, non-confrontational manner.
Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or equivalent degree in a relevant field
5+ years of progressive responsibility in cloud-based or technically aligned functions.

Willingness to travel to Europe approximately 2–3 times per year, depending on vehicle program timelines.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $132,800-$250,800. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
