Profound is seeking a Software Engineer, Data Platform to design, build, and scale infrastructure for organization-wide data.

The role supports analytics, experimentation, machine learning, and engineering teams through robust platform design.

Design and build infrastructure supporting machine learning, analytics, software engineering, and data science.
Develop tools and frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, quality, and observability.
Architect scalable systems using Snowflake, ClickHouse, AWS, dbt, and Dagster.
Build governance, access control, and data quality systems.
Create infrastructure supporting machine learning model development and productionization.
Drive decisions about platform architecture, tools, and data patterns.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver impactful solutions.

You have built platforms for engineers and data scientists in analytics, experimentation, data discovery, data quality, observability, or governance.
You have designed and operated large-scale distributed data systems.
You have expertise with ClickHouse, Tinybird, Snowflake, or Iceberg.
You have strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
You have experience with data governance, reliability, and secure data operations.
You communicate effectively and influence engineering and product teams.
You have experience with or interest in MLOps and production machine learning workflows.
You have strong problem-solving skills and can work in a fast-paced environment.
