Job Summary
Caterpillar is seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations developer with hands-on expertise in ERP development, customization, and integrations.
Contribute to end-to-end implementations, system enhancements, and technical delivery across Finance, Supply Chain, and Project Operations modules.
The role includes X++ development, data migration, integration engineering, and collaboration with consultants and stakeholders.
Technical Delivery and Development
- Develop and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions using X++ with upgrade-safe extensions.
- Participate in requirement analysis, fit/gap workshops, technical reviews, effort estimation, and development planning.
- Design and implement product enhancements, add-on modules, and scalable ERP applications.
- Prepare technical documentation and perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and performance optimization.
Integration and Data Management
- Use the Data Migration Framework for data import, export, and migration activities.
- Support integrations using APIs, web services, and Azure Logic Apps.
