The team focuses on automation, cloud infrastructure, AI-driven insights, monitoring, traffic management, deployments, DDoS protection, and WAF capabilities.
Role Overview
Apple is seeking a DevOps Engineer to improve operational excellence through automation, AI-driven engineering processes, and practical solutions to complex reliability problems.
The role supports highly available systems through cloud platforms, infrastructure management, automation, and close collaboration with development, security, and business teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Own Linux operations, AWS infrastructure architecture, provisioning, disaster recovery, and on-premises to AWS cloud migration.
- Manage Kubernetes and EKS upgrades, rolling patches, node maintenance, cluster optimization, and Helm chart development.
- Configure NGINX, GSLB, SSL/TLS, ingress, Shield, WAF, and DDoS mitigation capabilities.
- Design CI/CD pipelines and monitoring frameworks, participate in production on-call, and perform root-cause analysis for critical incidents.
- Apply LLM and GenAI approaches to incident triage, anomaly analysis, runbook generation, and self-healing operations.
