Role overview
Develop software for D&DC Land Systems using C and C++ across complex and distributed system environments.
Support software-system development, debugging, reliability, and customer-site issue resolution.
Technical requirements
- Excellent command of C and C++ programming languages.
- Strong understanding of operating-system principles, including Linux, VxWorks, and QNX.
- Experience programming in multithreaded and multiprocess environments.
- Proficiency with Linux, Jira, and inter-process communication.
- Hands-on experience developing large, complex software systems.
- Experience developing distributed architecture systems with intercommunication.
- Knowledge of IP protocols, VLANs, and Ethernet switching.
Systems and communication skills
- Experience with communications over Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN, NMEA, or ModBus physical-layer devices.
- Excellent analytical, integration, and debugging skills.
- Very good oral and written communication and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement tools to accelerate software-system development and debugging environments.
