Software Engineer

Microchip is world's leading source of precise timing and synchronization solutions.

We are looking for a “Engineer 2 - Software” level having 2 – 6 years of experience in software development in our Bangalore location.

The successful candidate is responsible for designing and developing software for our Frequency and Timing product.

Candidate will have below roles and responsibility:

• Must have minimum 2-6 years- hands on development experience using Core PHP, CodeIgniter or any other PHP framework.

• Build responsive frontend interfaces using React JS

• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs

• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB

• Use Git for version control and code collaboration

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Taking complete ownership of deliverables and providing regular update

• Write clean, scalable, and reusable code

• Understanding of networking basics

• Work on collaborating in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile Spring, methodology and tools

• Working knowledge of Telecom EMS/NMS and SDN is value add -on

• Knowledge of management protocols such as RESTAPI, SNMP, NETCONF, YANG Data modelling is value add-on

• Candidates should preferably be from telecom domain and from a product-based company (Optional)
