Responsibility
- Design and build engaging, native user experiences for the Docusign Android app using Kotlin
- Write clean, maintainable code and unit tests to ensure high performance and application stability
- Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and backend engineers to turn feature requirements into working mobile software
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks reported by users or automated tools
- Actively participate in team sprint planning, daily standups, and code reviews to give and receive constructive feedback
- Stay updated with new Android features, Jetpack tools, and Google platform updates to help continuous team improvement
- Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Basic
B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of professional software engineering experience
1+ years writing native Android applications in Kotlin
Understanding of Android application lifecycle, data persistence, network communication with RESTful APIs, and Git version control
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum team environment
Preferred
Personal or professional app published in the Google Play Store
Familiarity with Jetpack Compose alongside traditional layout architectures
Understanding of modern architectural patterns like MVVM and Android Jetpack components
Exposure to automated testing using JUnit or Espresso
Passion for high-quality UI/UX and Material Design guidelines
