About the Role
This role involves building and enhancing AI tooling infrastructure, researching and developing high-value AI paved paths, and providing technical expertise.
This role is based in Sydney and offers a hybrid work environment with flexibility to work remotely and collaborate in-person when needed.
Responsibilities
- Solve challenges no one’s solved before, with access to state-of-the-art tooling, models and infrastructure.
- Build and enhance AI tooling infrastructure, including MCP implementations and internal AI-enabled CLIs.
- Research and develop high-value AI paved paths, including multi-agent AI orchestration.
- Keep Canva close to the bleeding edge by industry research and 3rd party AI tooling trial, including evaluation, success metrics, and adoption.
- Help troubleshoot complex AI tooling issues across both Platform and Product.
- Codify and share technical knowledge through documentation and presentations.
- Provide technical expertise by identifying knowledge gaps and lifting team capabilities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for AI tooling adoption.
- Learn from senior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our AI tooling ecosystem.
Requirements
- Strong experience with the Python and/or Go programming languages.
