Role Overview

The Software Engineer will develop end-to-end web applications using Microsoft technologies.

The role involves technical problem solving, recommendations, code quality, performance, testing, and Agile delivery.

Experience and Technical Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience developing end-to-end web applications using Microsoft technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Angular 2 or later, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Working knowledge of Cosmos DB, Microsoft SQL Server or SQL, and TFS.
  • Familiarity with UI and unit testing tools including MSTest, Jasmine, Moq, NUnit, or Karma.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and n-tier architectures.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization; OAuth2 and OpenID Connect are a plus.
  • Experience with at least one service-oriented architecture project and Agile practices, preferably Scrum.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using the Microsoft stack.
  • Provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems.
  • Perform code reviews and resolve review comments.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and write efficient code and database queries.
  • Apply programming best practices and contribute to testing activities.

Personal Skills

  • Customer-service orientation and a problem-solving attitude are expected.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, flexibility, self-motivation, and teamwork are required.
  • Very good English communication and structured writing skills are required.
  • The role requires analytical reasoning to solve complex business problems.
