Software Engineer (3-5)

Qualifications

• Education: B.Tech, M.Tech, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of solving problems at scale.
• Programming Expertise: Extensive experience in at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., Java, C, C++). Exceptional coding skills with the ability to fluently translate design into maintainable, scalable, and unit-tested code.
• Concurrency: Strong hands-on experience with multi-threading and concurrent programming.
• System Design: Deep expertise in Object-Oriented Design (OOD), design patterns, and building intuitive module and class-level interfaces.
• Scale & Data Management: Proven experience building highly scalable business applications, handling complex business flows, and processing massive volumes of data.
• Database Proficiency: Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) as well as NoSQL technologies (e.g., HBase, Elasticsearch, Aerospike).
• Engineering Best Practices: Strong knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC) on a Linux platform.
