Work on Microsoft Fabric, a unified platform that brings together Fabric workloads and provides shared infrastructure, governance, security, and a unified data model.
The Azure Data engineering organization develops data, analytics, messaging, business intelligence, and real-time analytics products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, validate, and implement customer-facing user experiences.
- Design and implement secure, performant, resilient, modular platform infrastructure with reliability targets and observability.
- Take end-to-end ownership of deliverables and produce viable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable backend infrastructure services.
- Build innovative user experiences and automate manual processes.
- Ensure service security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Candidates must meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
- The role requires passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred qualifications
- A master's degree with 4+ years of technical engineering experience or a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience is preferred.
- React and/or Angular experience is strongly preferred.
