Role Overview
Build systems that help Amazon customers discover relevant deals and promotions.
Work across customer-facing experiences, backend services, ranking and personalization systems, and AI-powered automation.
Own end-to-end delivery in a distributed systems environment and balance delivery speed with quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship features that improve customer deal discovery and engagement.
- Build and operate services that provide pricing and inventory data to AI agents creating promotions.
- Develop instrumentation and A/B tests to measure customer engagement and agent-driven strategies.
- Use customer interactions to improve the intelligence of automation systems.
- Automate time-consuming tasks for internal business teams involved in deal curation.
- Own reliability and operational excellence for delivered systems.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
