Role overview

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test plans and cases, analyze results, report defects, and perform white-box, black-box, manual, integration, API, performance, and scalability testing.
• Develop and extend automation libraries and testing tools for iOS applications across devices and iOS versions.
• Participate in Agile activities, requirements clarification, testing estimates, mentoring, and cross-functional integration testing.
• Own testing infrastructure, monitor product quality, automate existing systems, and support production releases each sprint.
• Research or recommend tools and work with Xcode, ADB, emulator or simulator environments, TestRail or Zephyr, Jira, Postman, and Charles Proxy.

Required qualifications

• 3–7 years of industry experience.
• Experience with XCUITest or Appium, iOS application architecture, Xcode, and the iOS SDK.
• Experience with simulators, real devices, TestFlight or Firebase Test Lab, secure REST API automation, Agile, Git, and CI tools.
• Hands-on scripting or coding experience with automation testing tools or frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-based device farms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or HeadSpin.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Experience in JavaScript.
