Key job responsibilities
- Drive product definition, design, development, deployment, scaling, and global-scale operations.
- Create highly available, resilient, and scalable cloud services for the smart home experience.
- Design new features, analyze production metrics and customer insights, and improve cloud services continuously.
- Develop technical proof-of-concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams on solution proposals.
Basic qualifications
- Experience contributing to architecture and design of new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
- Professional, non-internship software development experience.
- Programming experience in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
