Role overview
Audible is seeking a Software Development Engineer to define, design, and refine technology supporting millions of listeners.
The team builds and operates contracts and rights systems that onboard, publish, and pay content providers and provide real-time access at scale.
The role supports a strategic modernization of Audible’s contract management capabilities in partnership with Amazon.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software components and applications for Audible’s creator and provider platform.
- Collaborate with an agile engineering team to write scalable, maintainable code and influence team decisions.
- Work with stakeholders to launch customer-centric software solutions.
- Solve challenging problems and deliver high-quality code on schedule.
- Apply data structures and algorithms effectively.
- Clarify technical requirements, assess estimates, and use diverse design approaches.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Improve software quality, customer experience, and product maintainability.
- Mentor and lead developers while fostering technical understanding.
