Role Overview
Software Development Engineer III will work in an AI-native setup where AI is the primary engineering collaborator.
The role is part of a small, cross-functional pod with Product, Engineering, and Quality functions, shared ownership, and no hand-offs.
The position reports to the Tech Lead within the Product and Technology Team.
What You Will Do
- Own the full software delivery lifecycle, including quality, from design through production and measurement.
- Operate in continuous flow using Kanban, respect WIP limits, and ship daily.
- Use AI agents for code generation, testing, specification writing, and deployment.
- Design, build, and debug backend and frontend software with distributed-systems awareness.
- Evaluate and tune agent workflows using steering documents, prompts, rules, and skills.
- Write clean, well-tested code and own quality end to end.
- Act as the initial on-call responder for deployed application health and stability.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to shared tooling, knowledge bases, and the agent foundation kit.
