Team Overview
The Selling Partner Identity Verification team helps make Amazon a safe and trustworthy marketplace and a strong platform for businesses selling products.
The team provides a secure and accurate identity verification platform to protect customers from bad actors and support fast, secure registration and account management.
The platform supports Amazon businesses including Mechanical Turk, Selling on Amazon, Amazon Pay, and Amazon Flex across multiple global regions.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and support end-to-end identity verification and account lifecycle management capabilities.
- Design and maintain large-scale distributed systems serving millions of Amazon customers with high accuracy and low friction.
- Support secure registration and account management capabilities for Amazon businesses.
- Apply computer science fundamentals and practical distributed-systems experience to web services-based applications.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
