Role Overview
Join Amazon's Alexa Devices team to develop innovative speech-backed visual experiences for Echo Show, Echo Spot, and related devices.
Build systems and services that support responsive Alexa experiences at Amazon scale.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain systems while partnering with Amazon, third-party, and device teams.
- Deliver services with minimal latency across device frameworks, web services, APIs, and large-scale data infrastructure.
- Develop features for screened Alexa devices and contribute to customer-facing product innovation.
Team Opportunities
- Invent novel Android-based experiences for customers.
- Collaborate with UX and product owners on customer experience and product direction.
- Deliver high-quality software in a dynamic Agile/Scrum team environment.
Basic Qualifications
- Four or more years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Four or more years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
