Role Overview
Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer for the Digital Acceleration team.
The team enables AI, data, metrics, and analytics at scale for Amazon digital teams.
The role focuses on distributed systems and enterprise-scale, mission-critical, multi-tiered applications.
Core Work
- Build products for metadata management, privacy compliance, data quality, and customer lifecycle management analytics.
- Develop software that achieves its goals in operational reality within a customer-centric environment.
- Apply software design, architecture, reliability, and scaling practices to new and existing systems.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
