Role Overview
Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios are seeking a Software Development Engineer for the AI Studios Engineering organization.
The role contributes to Nara, an AI-native content creation platform for professional animation and live-action content.
The engineer will build production-quality AI-powered creative tools alongside experienced engineers, scientists, and creative professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software for animation and live-action/VFX workflows.
- Implement backend services, media processing pipelines, APIs, ML integrations, and creator-facing tools.
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with scientists, product managers, animators, filmmakers, and storytellers.
- Integrate with Adobe Animate, After Effects, Maya, Storyboard Pro, and other DCC tools.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotations and improve monitoring, alerting, and documentation.
- Learn technologies relevant to AI/ML systems, media processing, and distributed computing.
