ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The PRIME software team implements common hardware programming sequences across different operating systems and engages with our silicon design team to develop state-of-the-art graphics & platform power management technologies without sacrificing performance. If you are interested in learning low-level kernel mode hardware programming, Windows and Linux driver and OS architecture then the PRIME team is where it’s at.

Debug, analyze and resolve quality and certification issues as reported by Customers and QA
Driver bring-up and qualification on new hardware platforms
Write high level driver design documents and test plans of new features
Write detailed design notes for major driver changes
Report status of activities to management and peers in a concise, timely and effective manner. Coordinate closely with peers and colleagues from other teams to ensure timely and effective communication of all assigned work activities
Execute software assignments as a highly motivated, self-starter

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Skills and Experience:
Proficient in object-oriented programming (2+ years)
Proficient at C/C++ programming language (2+ years)
Experience with software debuggers such as WinDbg (2+ years)
Experience with Kernel mode driver programming under MS Windows/Linux environment (2+ years)
Good understanding of PC architecture
Strong oral and written skill
Experience with graphic driver (optional)
Experience with low-level hardware device programming (optional)
