Role Overview
The Oracle Developer supports and maintains Ellucian Banner SIS and related academic applications.
The role focuses on Oracle Database, PL/SQL development, Banner modules, reporting, and integrations.
The position works with the application team and coordinates with the Head of the team to support academic and student services.
Office
- The role is normally performed in a typical interior office work environment with limited physical effort and risk.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and development for Banner SIS and academic systems, including Banner modules, APIs, and integrations.
- Develop and optimize Oracle Database and PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions.
- Troubleshoot Banner issues, resolve data or application problems, and maintain Argos and other Banner reports.
- Participate in testing, UAT, production deployments, team coordination, documentation, SDLC, and change management.
- Provide on-call or after-hours support during critical academic periods when required.
