Job Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
• Experience and coursework with C++ is desirable.
• Previous internship or projects involving software development is a plus.
• Must have a basic understanding of software development concepts, principles, and theory and demonstrate the ability to follow and apply basic use of programming and analysis concepts.
• Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment.
• Good communication, computer and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other professionals, to produce appropriate documentation, and to present results to a limited internal audience.
• Success in position requires consistent display of the following key abilities: Rapid and effective problem solving: identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop innovative solutions to a variety of complex problems. Communication skills to document, develop, and present technical issues so that stakeholders across the organization readily understand the content and their related actions.
