The Retail Web Technology organization develops and maintains Schwab's digital platform for retail clients and supports the Retirement Plan Services web platform.
The role is a QA-focused Software Developer responsible for delivering quality features for retail and retirement web applications.
The selected candidate is expected to work on site in the specified location, although the posting also references a broader hybrid work and flexibility approach.
Key responsibilities
- Define test strategies for cross-browser, localization, accessibility, and resiliency testing.
- Write manual and automated test cases from requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and cross-browser testing.
- Resolve test issues, prioritize defects, record results, and participate in release decisions.
- Monitor automated testing, analyze failures, and report issues promptly.
- Support technical governance and product quality standards with development and business teams.
- Promote end-to-end testing across multiple applications.
- Research and implement Agile testing, test-driven development, test automation, and test metrics.
- Coordinate testing plans, schedules, and metrics with product teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
