Software Developer in Test (SDET) – Mobile, Web & API Automation-REMOTE

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation for mobile and web applications .
• Strong experience in automation frameworks like Appium, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright .
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in API automation testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Solid knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, or Jest.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Kotlin.
• Strong experience with database testing and stored procedures .
• Experience in integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Salary and Other Compensation

• The annual salary for this position is between $74,000 – $104,000 +COLA+ Bonus depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
