Position summary
Design, develop, implement, maintain, and support complex ServiceNow solutions.
Work with business stakeholders to translate needs into ServiceNow applications and processes.
Collaborate with IT Operations engineers and cross-functional teams on platform integrations and automation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop Service Catalog items, workflows, and service request processes.
- Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications.
- Troubleshoot ServiceNow issues and monitor platform performance.
- Identify and document business processes that can be automated using ServiceNow.
- Integrate ServiceNow with monitoring, ticketing, and other IT systems.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, Agile planning, sprint prioritization, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Share knowledge through code reviews, pair programming, and training sessions.
Technical qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and Service Portal modules.
- Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Service Catalog.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations, reporting, and analytics.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- ServiceNow CSA, CAD, or CIS certification is a plus.
Qualifications and experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Three to five or more years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
- Ability to make mature decisions supported by thorough data and process analysis.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
