Role and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain Confluent CLI and Terraform Provider features, primarily using Go.
- Turn Confluent APIs into production-ready CLI commands and Terraform resources.
- Collaborate with service teams to deliver integrations and consistent product experiences.
- Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and follow engineering and release practices.
- Investigate customer issues and contribute reliability, performance, and usability fixes.
- Build shared frameworks, validation systems, and tooling for service-team integrations.
- Provide operational support and diagnose issues across APIs, cloud services, and customer environments.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1–4 years of relevant software development experience.
