Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for EDA tools and systems used by design engineers across onsemi.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to EDA software, tool environments, and infrastructure.
- Work closely with users to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
- Utilize Linux system knowledge to investigate and resolve tool and environment-related issues.
- Develop and maintain scripts and utilities to automate tasks, streamline workflows, and assist in problem resolution.
- Document issues, solutions, and best practices to improve support efficiency.
- Collaborate with global Design Infrastructure team members to ensure consistent support and service delivery.

Qualifications
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems and environments.
- Ability to learn and understand a variety of EDA tools and workflows.
- Experience with scripting or programming in a high-level language (such as Python, Perl, or similar).
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to semiconductor design environments and EDA tool ecosystems.
- Experience supporting technical users in a Linux-based engineering environment.
- Familiarity with automation and workflow optimization through scripting.
- Team & Location
- The position includes members across Europe and North America . This role will be based in Bangalore, India , providing critical support to engineering teams across the APAC region while collaborating closely with the global team.
