Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Soft Service Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations and employee allocation within its Facilities Management department in Dubai.
The role focuses on efficient, effective, and high-quality housekeeping services while managing a team of cleaning staff.
Housekeeping Operations
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning schedules, staff assignments, and quality control.
- Ensure adherence to established cleaning standards and procedures.
- Inspect cleaned areas to ensure quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Respond promptly to client requests and address service issues.
Employee Management
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
- Address employee concerns and resolve disciplinary issues.
- Manage employee schedules, attendance, and timekeeping.
Inventory and Client Relations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Order and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Conduct regular client meetings, discuss service needs, and address concerns.
- Ensure client satisfaction with housekeeping services.
Safety and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare regular reports on housekeeping activities, employee performance, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- At least five years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar Facilities Management role.
- Experience managing a team of housekeeping staff.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and techniques.
- Experience with cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as required.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- A UAE driving license is preferred.
