About the role

  • In this role, you will shape how Global Ventures shows up in the world.
  • You will own social and editorial strategy across the firm’s own channels and the personal accounts of its partners, spanning short form social, long form video, and audio.
  • This is a strategic role: you set the direction for how the firm’s ideas travel and who they reach.
  • You will report to the Communications Team and be based in Dubai.

What you will own

  • Cross platform strategy: Own content strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and any emerging channel.
  • Editorial and storytelling: Translate complex work streams into clear, punchy, original content.
  • Voice: Develop and maintain a credible voice for firm communications and adapt it for individual Partner profiles.
  • Content ladders across channels: Build repeatable systems that let one idea travel.
  • Distribution strategy: Make social a primary way the firm’s work reaches its audiences.
  • Event communications: Own event invitations and promotion across the firm’s and partners’ channels.
  • Community and engagement: Manage day to day engagement, grow and steward the audience.
  • Measurement: Define and report against goals that map to business outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, editors, video editors, investment team, portfolio founders, and wider communications team.
  • Experimentation: Have the freedom to test new platforms, formats, and technologies.

What you bring

  • Around 5 years of experience in social media and content, ideally in B2B, venture capital, financial services, technology, or executive communications.
  • A portfolio of original, punchy content that performed.
  • Strong editorial judgment and writing.
  • Native fluency in major platforms and their formats.
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic.
  • Hands on experience with event and campaign tools.
  • Fluency with analytics and data driven decision making.
  • A working understanding of the MENA market and its audiences.

Strong plus

  • A design eye and hands on ability to produce or shape visual content for social and email.
  • Direct experience growing executive or partner audiences across social channels.
