Responsibilities
- Own the content strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels
- Translate complex work streams into clear, punchy, original content
- Develop and maintain a credible voice for firm communications and adapt it for individual Partner profiles
- Build repeatable content ladders across channels to let one idea travel
- Make social a primary way the firm's work reaches its audiences through distribution strategy
- Own event invitations and promotion across the firm's and partners' channels
- Manage day to day engagement, grow and steward the audience, and feed insights back into content decisions
- Define and report against goals that map to business outcomes
- Collaborate with designers, editors, video editors, investment team, portfolio founders, and wider communications team
- Experiment with new platforms, formats, and technologies as they emerge
Requirements
- Around 5 years of experience in social media and content, ideally in B2B, venture capital, financial services, technology, or executive communications
- A portfolio of original, punchy content that performed, with a clear account of what you did and why it worked
- Strong editorial judgment and writing; ability to carry a defined voice and adapt it across formats and audiences
- Native fluency in major platforms and their formats, with understanding of what works on LinkedIn versus short form video versus long form content
- Fluent in both English and Arabic, with ability to create and adapt content in both
- Hands on experience with event and campaign tools, including managing invite lists and tracking registrations
- Fluency with analytics and the habit of using data to guide content related decisions
- A working understanding of the MENA market and its audiences

About the role
- In this role, you will shape how Global Ventures shows up in the world.
- You will own social and editorial strategy across the firm’s own channels and the personal accounts of its partners, spanning short form social, long form video, and audio.
- This is a strategic role: you set the direction for how the firm’s ideas travel and who they reach.
- You will report to the Communications Team and be based in Dubai.

What you bring
